Domestic Violence Program

Victoria's Haven provides four apartments for transitional living for women and their children who can benefit from an assisted living program. The maximum stay is 24 months and residents must either be in school or working. Counseling, advocacy and referrals are provided to families. An After Care Program supports former residents up to six months after they leave the program.

Services include:

• Counseling
• Advocacy
• Referrals
• Assistance with education and employment issues

Eligibility: Participants, who have no other resources for housing, removed from the abusive situation and are either in school or working.

Funding is provided by the Connecticut Department of Social Services.
