Calling All Men! Don't just stand by... stand up!
It's Purple Tie Tuesday - October 26, 2010
United Services Domestic Violence Program recognizes the importance of engaging men to end domestic violence.
In honor of Domestic Violence Month, United Services is proud to introduce Purple Tie Tuesday. A legendary American men's clothier has designed and manufactured a special tie to signify their
dedication to ending violence against victims of domestic violence.
We are asking men to join with us and demonstrate their commitment by wearing a purple tie on October 26, 2010.
Purchase your tie online with your Credit Card or Paypal Account for just $25, or print out this form and mail or drop it off with payment to United Services in Dayville or Willimantic now through Thursday, September 9th to ensure you have your tie in time for Purple Tie Tuesday!
$5 of every tie purchased from United Services helps our Domestic Violence Programs in Windham and Killingly provide shelter, support, advocacy, referral and counseling for victims of domestic violence and their children. Confidential hotlines are available for crisis intervention 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Emergency shelter and referrals are also available for families who need a safe place in a crisis. All calls are confidential.
