Children and Family Outpatient Services

United Services provides a wide range of services to children and families:

  • Child Guidance

  • Child and Family Outpatient Services

  • Intensive Family Preservation

…and other programs designed to provide assistance to children, adolescents (under 18) and their families who need help to manage difficult problems.

United Services clinicians and behavioral health professionals work to provide comprehensive treatments which can include psychological assessments and testing and psychiatric evaluations by a child psychiatrist. Medication evaluations and monitoring of medications are also available. Bilingual Services are available.

Eligibility: Children ages 0 to 18, with mental health and/or substance abuse treatment needs in Windham and Eastern Tolland County.

Funding is provided in part by the Department of Children and Families as well as health insurance, including HUSKY and client fees.
