Description:
We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Parenting Support Services Counselor to support families, strengthen parenting skills, and help reduce the risk of abuse or neglect. Do you have experience working with at-risk families, knowledge of child development, parenting skills, ability to engage diverse families and work independently in the community and strong interpersonal, planning, and documentation skills?

Program Overview:
- Provide in-home and community-based support to parents and families
- Model positive parenting skills and help develop individualized service plans
- Collaborate regularly with DCF and community partners
- Facilitate parenting groups
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in supervision
Ensure safety, conduct assessments, and follow all mandated reporting guidelines
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00p p.m.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
Salary Range:
$19.00-$21.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Bilingual (Spanish/English) rate of pay: $19.96-$22.59 per hour (depending on experience)
