Description:

We are seeking a Front Office Support – Per Diem candidate to join our team at United Services, Inc. in Connecticut. This role will provide temporary coverage for hours normally covered by a regular employee. The Front Office Support Per Diem will perform tasks that are consistent with normal program activities for the front office secretary, medical records, client access team, and psychiatric assistant. Additionally, this position will provide client assistance in all areas where temporary coverage is provided. This role is vital in supporting our mission of ‘Creating Healthy Communities’ by providing essential administrative support that enhances our operations and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Per Diems provide coverage as needed for reception, medical records, intake and other secretarial positions as may be necessary.

    • Flexibility to travel to designated sites as necessary
    • May be required to work any shift, including morning hours starting at 7:30 a.m. and evening hours until 8:00 p.m. for coverage

Requirements:

  • Strong customer support skills with a focus on service excellence.
  • Experience in calendar management and scheduling.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is required.

Minimum Requirements:

Associates Degree in a relevant field or high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience required.

Salary Range:

$19.00 per hour

*Benefits are not eligible for part-time positions

Work Location: In person

Important Employment Requirement:

All employees of United Services, Inc. are required to receive the influenza (flu) vaccine each year, unless a medical exemption has been submitted and approved by our Medical Director.
