Client Accounts Specialist Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

United Services seeks a Client Accounts Specialist to join our Dayville administrative team. The primary responsibilities of this position include setting up, processing, documenting, and managing all aspects of assigned clients and insurance accounts, from initial authorization through collections, to ensure accurate and timely payments for services rendered. Key duties involve working with insurance companies to verify insurance, establishing and monitoring payment plans, billing both electronically and in hard copy to third-party payers, identifying reimbursement sources and clients, accurately applying client and insurance payments promptly, following up on claim rejections, and entering all relevant client information into the system.<\/p>\n

Essential skills for this role include experience in healthcare billing and claims processing, proficiency with computer systems, effective time management, strong customer service abilities, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Obtain initial and maintain ongoing verifications and authorizations of client insurance\/billing information.<\/li>\n
  • Set-up and monitor client payment plans and\/or payment arrangements within established department guidelines and policies.<\/li>\n
  • Data entry of insurance information, authorizations, reimbursement rates, client fees and payment plans.<\/li>\n
  • Work with managed care\/insurance payors and clinicians to resolve questions related to authorization of services.<\/li>\n
  • Bill, via hard copy and\/or electronic billing, assigned client accounts to third party payors, clients, and other identified reimbursement sources, in compliance with all payor and department billing requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Follow-up on claim rejections, including re-billing with required documentation as necessary.<\/li>\n
  • Data entry of payments and adjustments for assigned clients to maintain accuracy of client accounts.<\/li>\n
  • Identify and document accounts deemed uncollectable and submit these accounts to the supervisor for collection approval and\/or for consideration for write-off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Location:\u00a01007 North Main Street, Dayville, CT 06277Perform other job duties consistent with the job purpose and directed by the Supervisor.<\/p>\n

    Schedule:
    \nMonday through Friday 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.<\/p>\n

    Qualifications:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Associates Degree plus two years relevant experience or High School Diploma plus four years relevant experience required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Salary\/Hourly Range:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • $18.14 – $20.52 per hour (depending on experience)<\/li>\n
      • Bilingual (Spanish\/English) rate of pay:\u00a0$19.06 – $21.56 per hour (depending on experience)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
