Description:
\nWe are looking for dedicated, hard-working professionals to work in our licensed transitional living program in Moosup, Connecticut. Working with adults in mental health recovery to return to living independently. Work as part of a team providing individual support and group counseling in a residential setting. Milner House is a 14-bed intensively staffed transitional living facility. It serves people with severe and prolonged mental illness. The facility provides 24-hour coverage on three awake-shifts and is licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Work includes assisting and teaching individuals adult daily living skills and social and emotional skill development. A valid driver\u2019s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to transport clients in their own car are required.
\nResponsibilities include:
\n\u2022 Medication monitoring
\n\u2022 Transporting individuals that we serve
\n\u2022 Assists individuals in addressing medical and psychiatric needs
\n\u2022 Prepares and facilitates educational and skill building groups and one-to-one interventions as directed by the treatment plan
\n\u2022 Assist in the preparation of meals
\n\u2022 Individual and group counseling
\n\u2022 Crisis intervention and risk assessment
\n\u2022 Function as part of a team in support of available services
\n\u2022 Coordinate care with providers and families as needed
\n\u2022 Documentation
\n\u2022 House cleaning
\nComprehensive training provided for all positions.
\nSchedule:
\n\u2022 Tuesday – Saturday: 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (40 – hours) 2nd Shift
\nMinimum Requirements:
\n\u00b7 1st and 2nd shift position \u2013 Associate\u2019s Degree plus two years of appropriate experience required or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in relevant human services field.<\/p>\n
Salary Range:
\n$19.00 – $21.50 per hour depending on experience
\nBilingual Spanish\/English Fluency: $19.96 – $22.59 per hour depending on experience.<\/p>\n
