United Services is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our Primary Care program within the Comprehensive Services Division. This role supports the delivery of integrated behavioral health and medical care, helping individuals achieve their health, wellness, and recovery goals through a person-centered approach.

The Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist will provide high-quality customer service and clinical support to primary care providers, clients, and their families. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about working with people living with behavioral health diagnoses and chronic health conditions while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team.

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day):

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, families, providers, and staff.
  • Assist primary care providers and clinical staff with patient care activities.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures and specimen collection in accordance with established protocols.
  • Support care coordination efforts to promote positive health outcomes.
  • Accurately document clinical information within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and other clinical support functions.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver integrated, person-centered care.
  • Support individuals in meeting their health, wellness, and recovery goals.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.14 – $20.52 (based on experience)

Bilingual Spanish/English Fluency: $19.06 – $21.56 (based on experience)

Job Location: Because our clients rely on face-to-face supports, this position requires employees to be fully present in the office.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates Degree and two years relevant experience in a medical setting; or
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and four years relevant experience in a medical setting.
  • Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
  • Appropriate experience in Phlebotomy required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Completion of Phlebotomy program
  • Two years of experience in primary care setting with similar volume
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • National Certification (NCCT or ASCP) or equivalent
