Women’s Wellness Through Art United Services, Inc., in partnership with Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group (TEEG) and with funding from The Community Foundation of Eastern CT (CFECT), is proud to offer Creative Resilience: Women’s Wellness Through Art, a womencentered wellness initiative designed to support emotional health, connection, and personal growth through creative expression.

Creative Resilience provides a welcoming space for adult women who may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or in need of time to reflect and reconnect with themselves. Through a six-week series, participants engage in expressive and reflective practices such as visual journaling, reflective writing, gentle movement, mindful breathing, and group connection. The focus is not on artistic skill, but on the process—using creativity as a tool for selfcare, healing, and resilience. This initiative reflects a growing understanding that creativity and connection are essential components of overall wellness.

By offering accessible, community-based opportunities for expression and reflection, Creative Resilience helps strengthen emotional well-being, reduce isolation, and support women as they navigate stress, caregiving responsibilities, and life transitions. Programs like this are an important part of building healthier individuals, families, and communities. More specific registration information will be available soon but please save the dates of this six-week session: Wednesdays March 25-April 29, 5-6:30pm, at TEEG, 15 Thatcher Street, N. Grosvenordale.
